Apply for Wildfire Disaster Relief

The CAR Foundation, in conjunction with the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, was awarded a $100,000 grant by the National Association of REALTORS’® REALTOR® Relief Foundation to help individuals and families affected by the East Troublesome, Calwood, and Cameron Peak Fires (Boulder, Grand and Larimer counties). The CAR Foundation has also added an additional $10,000 in funds to assist with this disaster relief.

  • Do note that it is criteria from National Association of REALTORS® that defines that the qualifying occurrence had to be declared an emergency by the Governor within the last 30 days, which is why only wildfire victims of the East Troublesome, Calwood, and Cameron Peak Fires (Boulder, Grand and Larimer counties) can apply for this disaster relief.

  • Qualified applicants can receive up to $1,000 to be used exclusively for a monthly mortgage expense on a primary residence or rental housing cost due to displacement from a primary residence or rental relocation resulting from a qualified fire area.

If you are someone who lost your primary residence as a result of these fires and are interested in applying for assistance, please download and complete the application, collect all needed documentation, and return the application to CARF@coloradorealtors.com .
