The current guidelines have made it almost impossible for condo transactions to be completed, even for buyers with strong credit and healthy down payments. 2010 RPAC Issues Conference Report CAR Past President, Kit Cowperthwaite and a few other REALTOR volunteers attended the REALTOR Political Action Committee Issues Conference in San Diego. They came away from this conference more convinced than ever of the need for CAR to nurture solid relationships with Congressional friends on both sides of the aisle. Jerry Giovaniello, NAR's Chief Lobbyist, said it best when he emphasized that the lobbying power of our organization is best realized when we work in a bipartisan way to advance the priorities of the "REALTOR® Party."
