Pueblo Chieftain: 2020 Was ‘A Very Good Year’ for Pueblo Real Estate Market

Low interest rates helped make 2020 a “very good year” for Pueblo’s residential real estate market, said Pueblo-area REALTOR® Dave Anderson. “…because they can work from home, and this will continue because Pueblo is a nice place to live with a better climate and we have the reservoir.”

“There are 29 active lots for sale right now, and it used to be in the 200s, so that is just nothing,” Anderson added. “Permits are way up — it’s the most we’ve had in 15 years,” he said.

“One transaction can benefit 12 to 15 people by the time it is done. It’s not just Realtors but mortgage companies, title companies, inspectors and service people,” Anderson said.
