TYRONE ADAMS
Chief Executive Officer
Tyrone has worked at CAR in various positions for over twenty-eight years and now serves as the CEO. Tyrone’s reputation has earned him several honors and awards, and he serves on numerous boards and committees throughout the country.
Some of his areas of responsibility at CAR include Board Outreach, Business Development, Exhibitors/ Sponsorships, Leadership and Board of Director relations, Staff Relations, and the general operations of CAR.
KERRIANNE BRENZEL
Director of Development and Communications
Kerrianne has been at CAR since 2021. Her people skills and ability to raise funds for our REALTOR® Political Action Committee have been a great addition to the team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include: RPAC fundraising and coordination, grassroots efforts, political affairs, and assisting government affairs with other efforts.
JENNIFER CAREY
Chief Operating Officer
Jennifer has been at CAR since 2012. Her strong financial skills make her a valuable addition to our team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include accounting/financials, dues, investments, human resources, and employment.
LAUREN CECIL
Senior Government Affairs Director
Lauren comes to us from a Government Affairs role with the Tennessee REALTORS. She has been a part of a REALTOR Association since April 2021, prior to that she was with the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry and has 9 years of Government Affairs experience.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include: develop an engagement strategy and advocacy voice in external relations with economic development groups, trade associations, and business coalitions that have policy implications for private property rights and the real estate industry.
LISA DRYER-HANSMEIER
Vice President of Member Engagement & Public Relations
Lisa has been at CAR since 2011. Lisa has a strong communication, design, and marketing background that makes her a valuable addition to our team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include research/statistics, communications (emails, website, publications), public relations, website design/updates, and staffing for the Member Services division.
LAUREN FEIGIN
Vice President of Board Services & Compliance
Lauren has been at CAR since 2014. Her attention to detail, organizational skills and work ethic makes her a valuable addition to our team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include appeals, arbitrations, professional standards, REALTOR® complaints, and outreach to local association executives.
JONATHAN GRIGGS
Vice President of Internal Operations
Jonathan has been at CAR since 2012. His valuable skillset allows him to work behind the scenes to ensure we are up to speed with technology and the Association’s properties are maintained.
Some of his areas of responsibility at CAR include office technology equipment, office equipment, building maintenance and operations, database management, BOD elections, and meeting room rentals. He also oversees the Customer Focus division.
ANGELIKA JONES
Director of Business Development
Angelika joined CAR in May of 2022. With 3 decades of experience in the Real Estate industry, she understands the importance of association partnerships as well as business benefits for REALTORS to help differentiate themselves in today’s competitive market.
Her primary responsibility at CAR is business development to include member benefits programs, partnerships, and event sponsorships and trade show booth sales.
SHANAYA JOSLIN
Programs & Operations Support Coordinator
Shanaya recently joined CAR in 2023. Her previous experience includes office administration, nonprofit organizations, and equine occupations.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include providing administrative support to the CAR Foundation, Government Affairs, as well as administrative support to other departments as needed.
HOLLY KRELL
Director of Professional Development
Holly has been at CAR since 2017. Her youthful spirit and vast knowledge bring an abundance of fresh ideas to our organization.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include CE Credits and transcripts, professional development course planning and implementation, Colorado Young Professionals Network, and the Leadership Academy.
KATELYN MANDEL
Events & Professional Development Coordinator
Katelyn has been at CAR since 2021. Prior to CAR she worked for the Starboard Group helping with administrative duties and event planning, which serves well on the CAR team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include receptionist, office supplies, brochure distribution, office meeting coordinator, and other duties as assigned.
AMY MCDERMOTT
Executive Director of CAR Charities
Amy has been at CAR since 2021. Her vast experience in 501c3 Foundations will serve well in leading the CAR Foundation to greater heights.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include operations and promotion of the CAR Foundation, grant distributions, fundraising, and all non-profit outreach and coordination.
BRENDA MOSS
Director of Meetings and Events
Brenda has been at CAR since 2019. Her vast experience and incredible attention to detail and meeting planning skills are a great addition to our team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include coordination of all events and conferences (primarily REALTOR® Day at the Capitol, Spring Summit, and Fall Forum), future meeting locations and scheduling, and any other CAR related events and meetings that pop up.
STACEY OVERMAN
Legal and Risk Coordinator
Stacey brings years of experience working with the public in the restaurant industry. She also has a strong background in executive administrative roles that will compliment well with becoming a valuable team member to the Legal and Risk Department. She is excited to immerse herself in every aspect of CAR.
MONICA PANCZER
Creative Marketing Specialist
Monica has been at CAR for many, many moons. Her creative mind and talents bring a wide array of skills to the communications team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include website design/updates, video production and editing, YouTube channel posts, graphic design, promotional and marketing material creation, booth and trade show design, and REALTOR® of the Year presentation.
SCOTT PETERSON
CAR General Counsel
Scott has been at CAR since 2015. His legal prowess and knowledge, combined with his public speaking abilities make him the most likeable lawyer in the state. At least we think so.
Some of his areas of responsibility at CAR include legal hotline, legal bites video series, continuing education sessions, and local board outreach.
RYAN SUMMERS
Legal & Risk Manager
Ryan has been at CAR since 2019. His knowledge and pleasant demeanor and positive attitude help make the Legal and Risk division flow smoothly.
Some of his areas of responsibility at CAR include arbitrations, professional standards, hearings, REALTOR® complaints, code of ethics, and assisting in all areas of the Legal and Risk division.
BRIAN TANNER
Vice President of Public Policy
Brian Tanner is a seasoned political strategist and lobbyist with 20+ years of experience in Colorado, Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Oregon. He manages CAR Government Affairs programs including lobbying, political fundraising, state ballot issues and candidate campaigns. Brian has worked on multi-million-dollar statewide ballot measure campaigns, presidential and congressional candidate races down to school board and other local elections. Brian has served as the CAR Vice President of Public Policy since 2023.
ADELA TAYLOR
Communications Associate
Adela has been at CAR since 2021. Her can-do attitude and social media knowledge are a huge addition to our team.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include social media posts, event coordination, communications, and other duties as assigned.
CASSIE WEBSTER
Bookkeeping/Administrative Coordinator
Cassie joined CAR in July of 2022. We are excited to have her on the CAR administrative team. Prior to working at CAR, she worked in funeral service for five years, directing services and taking care of families and their loved ones. She has also worked professionally in the equestrian field, in veterinary medicine, farm management, and training.
Some of her areas of responsibility at CAR include providing administrative bookkeeping support to COO and administrative support to other departments as needed.
JESSE ZAMORA
Government Affairs Director
Jesse joined CAR in March of 2022. Some of his areas of responsibility at CAR include coordination of government affairs committees, monitoring legislation and policy issues, supporting RPAC fundraising, interviewing political candidates, generating Government Affairs communications to the general membership, and ensuring successful political advocacy for CAR.
