Colorado REALTOR® Flood Challenge

The Colorado Association of REALTORS^® (CAR)is donating $25,000 with a goal of raising an additional $25,000 to help victims of Colorado’s recent floods.   These funds will serve as seed money for our request of $500,000 from the National Association of REALTORS^® Relief Foundation.

As a reminder, financial assistance would go to qualified Colorado REALTORS^® and members of the public in affected flood areas for temporary housing assistance, mortgage payment assistance and professional mitigation assistance.

The CAR Leadership Team is extending a challenge to all Colorado local REALTOR^® boards/associations/MLSs to help us meet our goal.  So far the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS^®, Pueblo Association of REALTORS^®, and the Vail Board of REALTORS^® have accepted the challenge.  Will you?

While we are waiting for NAR’s approval of our grant request, local boards/associations/MLSs who wish to donate can send their checks (made out to NAR REALTOR® Relief Foundation) to CAR (309 Inverness Way South, Englewood, CO 80112).  Once our grant request is approved we will send all of the seed money at once to the REALTOR® Relief Foundation.
