Colorado REALTOR Family Loses Another Leader

Ken Weedin, CAR’s 1974 past president and 1976 REALTOR® of the Year died Tuesday, September 2nd at the age of 91.  He was a pillar of the Loveland business community since 1956.  Ken was a REALTOR® over 50 years and owned Re/Max of Loveland for 20 of them. Lawrence Weedin said his father sold his last house as a REALTOR® four or five years ago.  “Pretty amazing,” Lawrence Weedin said. “He was probably 86, 87 when he sold his last house. That’s pretty unusual. He had a good life.”  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Presbyterian Church in Loveland, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Family Hospice (http://www.familyhospice.net) or the Rotary International Foundation (https://www.rotary.org/myrotary/en/rotary-foundation).
