NAR’s Rural Outreach Initiative

NAR’s Rural Outreach Initiative serves REALTOR® Associations in communities with less than 30,000 population and rural in character.  The Initiative has a two-fold strategy: (1) Identify and disseminate information and resources on the issues and challenges facing rural communities impacting real estate and (2) provide one-on-one assistance to small associations to help them take advantage of the REALTOR® Party Community Outreach programs, particularly our grants, to address these challenges.   Educational offerings will include webinars and sessions at NAR’s conferences to discuss rural issues impacting real estate and ways to address these issues.

As to the later, NAR staff will provide a concierge type service to small associations to identify a challenge they would like to address and direct them to the appropriate Community Outreach program to use.

If you are a small association interested in using our grants, submit the short questionnaire on the website page referenced above and learn how you can take advantage of a Community Outreach program.
