CAR CEO Tyrone Adams Represents CAR at Habitat CEO Build

Last week, Habitat for Humanity hosted a build for CEOs where our very own Tyrone Adams worked shoulder-to-shoulder with more than 50 other Colorado CEOs, including leadership from the Broncos and Coca Cola.  Tyrone was joined by Melissa Maldonado from the South Metro Denver REALTOR® Association (SMDRA) and Ted Leighty from the Colorado Home Builders Association. The team of CEOs built trellises at a build site near 53nd and Federal, where new homebuyers will move in by the end of the year. Before the build, they heard from Quána, one of Habitat’s newest homeowners.  Before she moved into her new home, she experienced housing insecurity several times throughout her life and had moved a staggering 23 times.

Tyrone said, “This is my second year doing this….we know that affordable and attainable housing is an issue here in Colorado, and this is just a small bit of what we can do to help.”
