Notice of Dissolution for CARED Foundation

The Colorado Association of REALTORS® Education Foundation (CARED) Board of Directors has voted to dissolve the CARED Foundation and merge with the Colorado Association of REALTORS® Housing Opportunity Foundation (CARHOF) to form one charitable entity, the Colorado REALTOR® Foundation (CRF).

The Board of Directors of both charities, CARED, CARHOF, and CAR Leadership are enthusiastic about the opportunity to grow CRF into a unified, impactful and recognizable charity within the Colorado community. As a strong influence in educating the consumer about real estate, providing safe and affordable housing, and having funds available to help with disaster relief here and abroad, REALTORS® can make a difference.

At the Spring Business Meetings Board of Directors meeting on April 23rd, 2015 at 9:00 am a vote will be called to dissolve CARED to become part of the newly restructured Colorado REALTOR® Foundation. Per the CARED bylaws each local association will be allowed one vote to move forward with the dissolution.

There will be an informational meeting held during the CARED scheduled meeting on April 22, 2015 at 10:30 at the Spring Meetings if there are any questions.
