Four Colo. Cities Make Top 10 List for Most Competitive Cities for Homebuyers

Littleton, Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Denver ranked in the top 10 most competitive cities for homebuying according to real estate brokerage Redfin. Some of these cities are called “Zoom cities” after the popular video conferencing app, which refers to the popularity of working from home and the subsequent uptick in real estate sales.

While many cities across the nation reported some cooling off on the amount of inventory and slowing demand, these Colorado cities show no signs of a slow down. Redfin measured different sets of data to compile the list: number of competing offers, number o waived contingencies, sale above asking price and number of days on the market.

Littleton, Colo., ranked first on the list followed by Aurora in second place, Colorado Springs in eighth place, and Denver in tenth place.
