Are you looking for new ways to represent your community and industry in important legislative and political decisions? Apply today to serve as a volunteer on CAR’s Legislative Policy Committee or CAR Political Action Committee and represent your industry in statewide matters critical to the future of real estate and property owners. Applications are now being accepted through September 14, 2020, along with a recommendation letter from your local Board/Association.

Legislative Policy Committee: The Legislative Policy Committee monitors all legislation considered by the Colorado General Assembly, supports or opposes any and all legislation which would have a favorable or negative impact on the real estate industry, proposes policy that will improve the real estate industry’s operation, and communicates on a regular basis with members and Boards of REALTORS® on legislative issues. LPC members are appointed by the 2021 Chair and serve a 1-year term from December through May. Apply Now.

CAR Political Action Committee: CARPAC trustees review state and local ballot requests for issues mobilization dollars and candidate endorsements for both statewide and local elected offices. Their involvement is critical to help CAR determine how we support REALTOR® champions. Volunteers serve 4-year terms, and can serve two terms consecutively. Committee seats currently vacant: (1) Metro District, (1) Mountain District, and (2) At-Large Positions. Apply Now.
